Serving your children’s best interests is my goal. Working together, your priorities become my priorities. Surrey students and educators deserve classrooms, not portables.

My diverse education, fluency in many languages, and diverse life experiences have guided my work as an educator in B.C. I have also worked as a volunteer in a variety of charitable and municipal areas.

As a presenter for BCTF, I have given parent workshops on bullying and supporting your child’s learning.  As president of Educators Against Racism (BCTF) have worked on planning conferences for teachers.

I have been involved in a variety of fundraising initiatives in school as well as in the larger community. A recent visit to Africa energized me to collect thousands of books for students and teachers in Ghana among other projects.

A social justice activist since childhood I have fought Casteism, racism sexism and ageism. My long experience with the Delta Teachers Association has honed my skills.
